Private Lesson Information

Leigh has over a decade of experience of teaching private bassoon and contrabassoon lessons. Her students have accomplished much through the years including:
  • Top seats in Kansas All-State Orchestra and Bands
  • Top marks at All-State solo and ensemble
  • Concerto soloist with Olathe Youth Orchestra
  • Acceptance to Interlochen Arts Camp Bassoon Institute, Midwestern Music Academy and Prairie Wind Honor Band

Lesson are available:
  • for all ages from youth through adult
  • come with discounted GoBassoon Reeds
  • Will come to teach at your home* (see rates below)
  • Available in half-hour and full hour slots
  • Reed and Contrabassoon lesson also available

Lesson Options

Within the city of Lawrence:
  • 1/2 Hour Lesson $20
  • 1 Hour Lesson $30
  • $5 extra I will teach at your house*

Within 50 mile radius of Lawrence:
  • 1 hour lesson, I come to your house to teach* $40
*Required for at-home-lessons: quiet, preferably private, space with 1 music stand and 2 armless chairs. A responsible adult must be at home during the lesson.
