- Rubank Elementary Method for Bassoon - for the student who is taking lessons to develop basic skills as a bassoonist and/or taking bassoon as a secondary instrument.
For bassoonists who have been playing bassoon for a year or more by their first lesson with me:
- Method for Bassoon, by Weissenborn, edited by Fred Bettoney ~$25 - be careful - there are many editions of this book. This is one that has an olive green cover and is edited by Bettoney. This is the best comprehensive book for bassoonists and will last them into college level playing.
